When you break it down to the core, the secret to success for mobile content providers rests on one essential factor — deliverability.
Of course, content is important — it is your reason for being, but the best planned, researched and produced content means little if it’s not reaching the target audience. As we know, reaching that audience can be a challenging and expensive operation, yet companies who focus on producing content cannot ignore the delivery issues, as they are critical to driving success.
In a recent post on CMSWire, Dan Lewis discusses the future of digital mobility and the customer experience. When it comes to the future of the platforms on which content is shared and where providers and users interact, Lewis said, “The development of the platforms on which we consume content and interact with will see key improvements that will allow them to be more Adaptive, Immersive, Nimble, Robust.”
The guidelines Lewis sees for future development seem to us to be exactly the points content providers should be seeking now as they look for the best delivery systems for their products.
Content providers need partners who can provide fast, reliable connections, scalability, data storage and security. They also need delivery partners that can help them adapt quickly to changing market conditions and provide a quality experience for the user. Mobility in the digital world is still evolving, and its potential is still being discovered. However, making the connections now that will spur creativity and drive discoveries will determine who gets there first.
